Aims of the Spenborough Co-operative Trust

Sarah Breeze was appointed in April 2016 to work solely for the Trust as 'Enrichment Activity Facilitator'. Sarah says:

Ensuring children are happy and challenging themselves is something I’m truly passionate about.  I am absolutely delighted to have secured my new role as ‘Enrichment Activity Facilitator’ a new position within Spenborough Cooperative Trust. I thrive on organising and developing new projects and keen to do something positive to help support the communities within our Trust schools. I have lived in the local area all my life so I am familiar with all the schools within the Trust and the communities around them.

I live local with my husband and two boys aged 5 and 6. I have nurtured and supported them through their Early Years. Now they are both in full time school I felt it the right time to move onto the next exciting chapter in my life. I knew I wanted to develop my expertise in education, so last year I went back to college completing Level 3 ‘Specialist support for Teaching and Learning in schools’.

My background is Project Management within industry. I was 14 years project coordinating for a large local paint manufacturer. I have vast experience of working for, and with, multi million pound businesses and appreciation of the complexity and diversity this can bring.

I look forward to working with all schools over the next few months and please let me know if I can be of help with any projects or ideas.

Sarah is hoping to develop the aims of the Trust which are around raising standards; improving services for children and their families; developing community links and activities and transition between schools. She is particularly keen to hear from parents and members of the wider community about what activities you would like to see the Trust offer for children, families and adults.
